Founded in Park City, Utah, Base Camp Audio is a boutique hi-fi store that blends urban sophistication with the soul of the outdoors. At the heart of it is a simple belief: the system serves the music, and the music serves the moment, sitting almost unnoticed behind a quiet morning at home, or filling the house on a night with family and friends.

We design, build, and install high-fidelity sound systems for the home, from a turntable and a pair of speakers to audio throughout the house. We carry only brands we've personally vetted, listened to, and lived with, and every system is designed around your environment and your taste, whether you're a lifelong audiophile or someone who simply loves music and wants more from it.

Andrew Lorberbaum

A 40-year veteran of the hi-fi industry, Andrew brings deep expertise and passion to Base Camp Audio. He began his career on Long Island, New York, where he spent two decades honing his craft, then continued in New York City serving some of the city's most discerning listeners. Park City had been a family destination for more than a decade before it became home. After a lifetime on the East Coast, he made the move west to build something of his own. His reputation for trusted guidance and personalized service is the foundation of Base Camp Audio's ethos.

Brandon Lorberbaum

Brandon learned hospitality young, working as a cabana boy at a beach club on Long Island, New York. He learned to love music even younger, in a home shaped by his father Andrew's hi-fi systems. Snowboarding brought him to Park City a decade ago, and he's spent the years since working at the St. Regis Deer Valley, hosting everything from elegant private dinners to the best après scene in town. He now joins his father to build Base Camp Audio, pairing his gift for hospitality with a lifelong ear for great sound.
